In 1989, a couple of Gold Coast residents saw somebody rummaging through an industrial bin one Christmas looking for food and they said, "surely we can help these people".
Thankfully, in this country we have plenty of good quality food, but unfortunately, this good food doesn't reach all the people all the time.
This occurs for a number of reasons and can be summed up by the fact that individuals and families can find themselves in a place of financial crisis. |
