About Food Aid

Food Given

We currently give an average of 15 (at times up to 40) boxes of food per day five days a week.

That is 75 boxes of food feeding around 300 people per week. In over 15 years Food Aid has supplied food to over 20,000 families on the Gold Coast with a well balanced, good quality box of food.

Food Aid is a registered charity with the Australian Tax office with DGR (Detuctable Gift Receipiant) Status.

Food Collected

Food Aid collects very good quality day old bread, pastries and cakes from bakeries and "seconds", fruit and vegetables from grocers five days a week at no cost. Other food is either donated or paid for by various persons and businesses.
